I question the common use of phrases like “poorly trained ICE agents” though, as often ICE stresses the Border Control or other law enforcement experience of the killers. You accurately emphasize the context as adding to the danger that another such “error of judgement” will occur. I note that Noem of ICE has control of the context. I wonder when we will learn more about the actual instructions and training these “experienced” thugs are given from Noem and her ilk, who unconditionally approve without investigating?

We can try building an understanding why so many Americans voted for Trump in 2024. We can also rejoice that so many who voted for Trump are reaching that inflection point that goes "I did not realize how dangerous Trump is until ---------------"insert inflection point; Jan 6th, Ukraine, Greenland, ICE brown shirts, THE BiG BiLL, tariff warfare, rising electricity bills, tearing down the east wing of the White House, on and on to murder in Minneapolis, ordering water valves wrongly opened in California. Each of these and many more mark a point where Trump voter in 2024 realize their having been suckered by the Mango Mussolini. Sadly there seems to be a cult that worships him and can never see the danger. I hope one of those inflection points is NOT his damage or cancellation of the elections scheduled for November, the most important Constitutional chance for Americans to exert our power of the vote. Sadly, 1. we failed to convert 10 more Republican Senators to vote to convict Trump of his Jan 6th impeachment. and 2. he still has the Constitutional power of Commander in Chief of our powerful military. And 3. he violates the law and the Constitution repeatedly with no checks and balances. Many would pay him no attention if he were NOT President. Reach out to those who may listen and become FORMER Trump voters . One of my friends had a sign at a NO KINGS rally that read "He lied to you. Come join us". . There was also the beat up pick up truck from which he expected the usual derogatory the driver slowed to lean out the window and shout "Why can't the sob just die:" That inflection point is there for many. The question was always "Would US forces ever turn on their own people"? I was always told that a voluntary military would never do such a thing......now we are going to send in boys who are trained to start fires, not put them out, into the streets of America?
